Carlos Miguel Miggy has passed away after battle with leukemia.
Miggy, a 7-year-old boy who bravely battled leukemia, was confined at the Children’s Hospital in Manila. Doctors had recommended a bone marrow transplant that would have cost nearly ₱5 million.
Many will remember the viral video of Miggy with his father, Kuya Jojo—who, on his own, worked tirelessly and traveled back and forth to the hospital, carrying documents and knocking on every possible door in the hope of saving his son’s life.
Despite all efforts and countless prayers, it is with deep sadness that Miggy has passed away. Heartfelt condolences go out to his family. May his memory remain a lasting inspiration of courage, resilience, and love.
